More than 2,100 people completed the 2017 Hope and Dream 10K run to raise funds and awareness for the Hope Cancer Support Centre and County Wexford Hospice Homecare Service.

Earlier this year New Ross depot manager Tom Hipwell committed to Operation Transformation and lost more than a stone in weight. He has held steady at his new weight and completed this year's Hope and Dream 10K run in 54mins 11secs, a new personal best (last year's time was 59mins 58secs).

About Hope and Dream

Hope and Dream 10 is now a major annual event in the South East designed assist people who have been affected by cancer and other life-threatening illnesses with free of charge services to clients. The goal is to divide all sponsorship money raised evenly between the Hope Cancer Support Centre and County Wexford Hospice Homecare Service.
